If you need a bubble-free pour, work with someone who specializes in that.
If you're an industrial buyer solving a bonding or encapsulation problem, 'clear' isn't enough information. Does clear mean visually transparent, UV-transmitting, or transparent after cure? It's in the datasheet. If a supplier can't tell you the refractive index, glass transition temperature, or pot life, you're not buying a material. You're buying a hope.
And if your application really involves UV curing, clear epoxy is probably the wrong starting point. UV-curable products call themselves UV-curable resin or UV adhesive, not plain epoxy.
